| Another fun charter! | My sister and I have been on four charters with Captain David DeCuir and are going on our fifth this coming May. That should say something about how much we enjoy trips with him and what a good time we always have. He is always willing to please and tailors a charter the way each client wishes; and he always goes above and beyond the call of duty if you mention something you would like to do.
While not being obvious about it, he keeps an eye on any potential problems, and we find the whole experience very relaxing and lots of fun.
My sister and I are both looking forward to May (it’s become like visiting family), and hopefully we’ll have many more charters with David. Please feel free to call if you have any questions |

| February 2009 | Thanks Patty. I had started an email for you, but things have been hectic since we got home. Attached is our feedback questionnaire.
I don’t know if this is a standard service, but the hundreds of underwater photos and video that Claudia and David took while we were snorkeling was completely unexpected. They put together a DVD slide show of our trip for us complete with titles, itinerary, and music!!.
One day we couldn’t get in to the Bath’s at Virgin Gorda by sea, because of the heavy North swells. It was just too dangerous. David took us by Taxi instead, because he knew that we really needed to see it! We had no idea what it was we were going to see, just that David didn’t want us to miss something really unique.
Much of their business is repeat and I can see why. The next charter coming on board was their 11th time out with David on Antiquity!

How did you enjoy your cruising vacation?
Very Much! This was our 25th wedding anniversary 2nd honeymoon. So it was a very special extravagance for us. We were not disappointed. It was truly an outstanding trip.
How would you describe your Captain and crew? Were they courteous? Attentive? Knowledgeable?
David and Claudia saw to our every need. We enjoyed David’s 30 years experience in the VI. He was our personal 24 hr tour guide. He knows everything about the seas, winds, flora and fauna, folklore, history of piracy, treasure and shipwrecks. He never ran out of information to share with us. Claudia has so much fish knowledge and loves snorkeling so much that she was our constant tour guide under the sea. She’s a fountain of undersea and birding information.
We were so pleased and surprised with the undersea slide-show that David and Claudia created for us personally. It is a wonderful memento of our special vacation. Not only are they great sailors, cooks, tour guides, hosts, but they are amazing digital underwater photographers!
Tell me about your meals? Did the menus meet your group’s expectations?
Oh yes.- And then some!!
How is the yacht? Is she clean and well maintained? Were your cabins comfortable?
Antiquity is clean, beautifully maintained, sturdy and comfortable. Even in the one day of very heavy seas, we never felt insecure.
How did you find the pace and the itinerary of your vacation?
Leisurely – As we expected. David and Claudia were always willing to add to the schedule or take something out of the schedule according to our whims. We filled our days as we wanted.
Would you charter this yacht again? If not, please explain. If yes, what are the key reasons?
Yes. We would also recommend to our friends. As charters go, it is one of the more reasonably priced ones. We felt very lucky to have such a friendly, knowledgeable, capable crew.
Additional comments:
We felt bad that they went out and shopped for absolutely everything on our preferences list. We were just thinking of it as a guideline.
