SAMPLE MENU
Claudia and David share in the preparing and serving the meals, snacks, and drinks that you told us you prefer. The food preference sheet is followed down to the letter in preparing your requests. David specializes in Cajun food (CAJUN FOOD DOES NOT HAVE TO BE “SPICE HOT” BUT IT IS “SPICE FLAVOR” WITH LOTS OF COMPLEMENTARY SPICES) from “crawfish etouffee” to grilled blackened fish and Texas BBQ. While Claudia’s dishes tend to be more Caribbean, healthy, attractive, and tasty. Claudia and David can cook anything you want from steak and potatoes to vegetarian. I assure you the food on ANTIQUITY is what you request and the way you want it. Claudia and David have been told many times that the food is better than or as good as any restaurant in the islands.
BREAKFAST:
All breakfasts come with fresh fruit, juice of your choice, fresh perked Caribbean coffee the way you like it. Claudia and David will do anything from Continental to full American breakfast.
· Claudia’s famous gingerbread pancakes with thick crispy smoked bacon, hot genuine maple syrup and soft butter
· David’s Cajun omelet filled with rice (yes rice, do not knock it until you try it, it is a big request on repeat charters), egg, some type of meat or seafood, topped with sliced tomato and melted cheese
· ANTIQUITY’S special eggs benedict with our special blend Hollandaise sauce
· Claudia’s own “homemade cinnamon bread” deluxe French toast, with genuine maple syrup and soft butter
· Eggs done “YOUR WAY” with thick smoked bacon, country maple sausage, or hearty Virginia baked ham
· Crêpes with a tasty yogurt and cream cheese filling topped with sliced strawberries au juice
· Cereal of your choice topped with nuts, fruit, and yogurt if you like, and your choice of cold real milk or soy milk
LUNCH:
Your lunch can be hot or cold, lite or hearty according to your personal preference.
Just a snack, maybe one of Claudia’s healthy salads or a little something more filling.
· Claudia’s bird of paradise filled with fresh fruit and deluxe wrap
· David’s famous cheeseburger in paradise with the side of your choice from Claudia’s cold slaw or salad to home fries or just chips
· Claudia’s own Cajun chicken caeaser salad with her special dressing and freshly toasted parmesan croutons
· ANTIQUITY’S cold crab pesto pasta salad with deviled eggs & bread sticks
· Hot Cajun seafood quiches served with cottage cheese & pineapple slice
· Claudia’s own Chicago style Italian sausage in a bun topped with fried onions, green peppers with cold slaw on the side.
· David’s TEXAS STYLE BQ chicken with Claudia’s home style baked beans
DINNER:
As the sun sets, sit back and relax with your favorite drink or one of ANTIQUITY’S Caribbean drink specialties and a delicious snack.
Dinner each evening is accompanied by a unique salad, fresh hot bread and our own homemade desserts. (wines by request)
- David’s famous crawfish etouffee (do not like crawfish, try chicken or another seafood) over rice with fresh steamed broccoli, completed with ANTIQUITY’S fabulous southern pecan pie (always a request with return charter guests)
- Mahi-Mahi grilled, topped with mango salsa and served with steamed fresh vegetable and wild rice, for chocolate lovers, chocolate cheese cake
- Cajun style steak grilled to your order, baked potato and country style sweet corn with Texas style mushroom gravy on the side, ANTIQUITY’S own key lime pie
- Tuna marinated with David’s special blend of seasonings, grilled to your preference, with wasabi on the side, steamed fresh snap peas and petite seasoned red potatoes, double chocolate brownies
- Pork tenderloin roast, marinated and grilled, with home made stuffing and honey/butter cinnamon basted acorn squash, Claudia’s homemade extra chocolate “chiper” cookies
- Shrimp scampi over long grain rice, with fresh steamed green beans, Claudia’s layered delight caramel squares
- For the fish lover we also do Salmon and Sea bass on the grill
- If you prefer steak, pork or chicken rather than fish we can also do this on the grill
