GRAND OASIS   GUESTS COMMENTS Carl's Comments  Ginny - The charter was fantastic! Everywhere we went we felt we had a  better boat than what others had (very proud of the trimuran!). Because of  the shallow draft, we went inside reefs and to other beaches that other  boats couldn't reach. Jeff Hurd is a wonderful captain. His knowledge, easy-going behavior,  willingness to please, and constant stories were most appreciated. The  food was better than expected, and the cooking was exceptional. We were  amazed that they followed our preferences almost perfectly. Both crew  members were responsive to our needs and requests. Every day we sat down with Jeff in the morning and planned the day's sail. Jeff had a tendency  to push us into doing things that were challenging but (in most cases) turned out to be fun. For example, some of our party got tired of diving and/or snorkeling near the end of the trip, yet Jeff continued to point  out the best places. I think he was surprised when he found out that we  most enjoyed sight-seeing and playing on the beaches in shallow water,  especially during the last few days. Several times we partied with the crew on shore and felt like they were an  integral part of our group.
