Capt. Mike grew up in Chicago later relocating to Los Angeles and to Phoenix. Along the way he acquired degrees in accounting, insurance and finance. In 1990, his two children raised, he sold his company in Phoenix, bought a sailboat, and relocated to the Caribbean.
Chef Mike originally self-taught has had the opportunity to serve as apprentice to world renowned chef Pascal Chevillott @ 'Cha Cha Cha' in Grand Case, St. Martin, FWI. One off-season found him attending culinary school in Europe (Balleymaloe). More recently he did an internship with St. Martins hottest chef Mario Tardif @ Mario's 'Bistro' in Marigot, St. Martin, FWI.
Graunya's First Mates / Hostesses are on the move individuals selected for their delightful personalities, dynamic energy levels, love of water sports and solid sailing experience. Assisting Capt. Mike, over the years, to create memorable holidays for Graunya's guests have been sailor ladies from Australia, Corsica, Denmark, England, France, Holland and New Zealand as well as the United States. |
