‘Dear Adele and Pierre, thanks for this soothing, wonderful and beautiful. It’s your personality that that made it all possible and I’m very grateful for that. The islands were jewels and the rum and coke was relaxing. The Thai cooking was the best I’ve ever had. And the conversations were very interesting.’ Genevieve.

‘Dear Adele and Pierre, this trip was very important to my father. Thank you for your friendship and your warmth. You have made this a beautiful vacation. You are two nice and good persons and it was a real pleasure to be in your company for the week.

‘To our newest friends, Adele and Pierre: Thank you for your companionship and cooking tips. You have treated us like royalty and shown us some of the best little secrets of the Caribbean. It will take us weeks to work off all the food you have fed us! It was an absolute perfect getaway and we will be back.’ Chris and Stacey.

‘Thank you for a wonderful experience for my children and me. This voyage was just what I was hoping for: the interesting sights, activities, and even the cooking lessons!! Also we appreciated your tips on sailing and look forward to trying it again with you in the future.’ Dick, Katie and Brendon.

‘This trip was a great introduction to sailing. I don’t know if I could get the same instruction elsewhere!’ Brendon.

‘Dear Adele and Pierre, although we traveled with experienced boating people, you have made our first sailing vacation a marvelous experience. Your knowledge and expertise completely took our fears away! Given the weather in the beginning of the week, that did not appear that that would be an easy feat!! Your hospitality was so appreciated by us. You made us feel immediately welcomed into your home, which is immaculate. Your culinary expertise is unsurpassed; I appreciated you giving me your recipes. My only regret is that you won’t be in our kitchen cooking the meals. In closing, let us say that it was an absolute pleasure spending a wonderful week about Honiara I, and we look forward to seeing you again in the future. We wish you great success!!’ Eleana, Karen, John and Jack.

Dear Adele and Pierre: we were very pleased with our charter. My wife, two daughters and I had an absolutely wonderful time. Pierre and Adele are very personable and friendly. They did everything they could to make us comfortable and accommodate our quirky schedule of activities.

The yacht was comfortable, clean and extremely well maintained.

The quality and presentation of the meals served on board was excellent. My daughters, who can be fussy eaters, cleaned their plates at every meal and delighted in the cuisine asking for recipes for several of them. In addition, Adele cleverly and tastefully adapted recipes to accommodate one of my daughter’s lactose-intolerance. Quite a feat! All in all they were wonderful meals that you’d expect in a top restaurant.
Pierre and Adele were wonderful. We recommend them enthusiastically. As I mention above, food, friendliness, the trip itself everything was superlative. In addition, their personal attention was extraordinary. I offer a couple of examples of the lengths they went to help us. Before we sent Pierre an e-mail mentioning that we’d like to attend Palm Sunday service at an Episcopal Church and did he have any ideas. Pierre proceeded to search out Episcopal Churches in the area of our sailing, the sailing times to them, how it would affect our itinerary and then made the best recommendation. We thus were able to attend the Palm Sunday service on St. John without missing a beat for a great sailing charter. Another example: after the charter, I sent an e-mail to Pierre mentioning that I had lost on one of the flights back home a trip diary that I had been maintaining and that included the entries regarding our trip which I hand copied from Pierre’s ship’s log at the end of each day of our trip. Pierre laboriously and with much time involved typed up all the log entries and e-mailed them to me. It was quite an effort and so very much appreciated so that we could assemble our family photo albums of the trip with commentary (as we do for all our family vacations). In closing, I can only say that you would do very well to recommend Pierre and Adele to your other charter clients.
Please feel free to contact us at any time.
Christopher, Illyria, Juliana and Margaretta

Adele and Pierre: thank you for a fabulous sailing and adventure on your beautiful Honiara I. The quiet anchorages and coves you selected were all very pretty. We learnt much about boat handling and navigation in the Virgin Islands, such that we feel more comfortable about trying this on our own sometime soon. The weather was perfect (a little warm)and we appreciate so much your wonderful care and hospitality. The cuisine was absolutely fabulous. It was special for us to be treated as guests and friends. Gail & Thomas.

How can I begin to explain how much you have done for us. Our fifth anniversary has been the best... You are the best! You have passed our expectations, we did all the things we wanted and more. Adele you are my new girl friend soon to be my old girlfriend. Pierre, you understand my husband, you keeped him involved and feeling good, and you keeped his beer ICE cold, not so easy in the warm Caribbean weather. You both are the best, we will never forget you!!! We will be back. Jim & Sheri.

Thanks for making our first trip in the Caribbean so much fun and interesting. We enjoyed eery minute and will fondly remember our dinner hour, the chat sessions and your fun attitude about liing and sailing in these beatiful islands. We hope we can do this again. Kind regards, Carol and Bruce.

Dear Adele and Pierre, unfortunately all good things must come to an end, and so must this unforgetable week. We are returning home well rested, more knowledgeable about sailing and extremely well fed. Adele and Pierre are marvellous cooks. The snorkelling was wonderful -we\'ll never forget the turtle that Pierre spotted and the barracuda. Your boat is immaculate which is another indication of the pride you take in all you do to proide your guests with a memorable experience. Thanks again, Caroline and Jean-Marc.

Cathy and I are new together, so we wanted agreat experience to remember forever, and I don\'t think we could have come up with a better one. Adele you are the perfect partner for Pierre and the charter service. Your cooking is out of this world. Both of you have a love of the sea, a love for each other and a love of the Virgin Islands that you you have to share with other people. We will cherish these memories forever and will remember you fondly forever. Cathy and Larry.

Our first Caribbean sailing experience has been a delight. So many firsts: first spinnaker sail, first painkiller, incredible snorkelling and sailing. Een the barracuda stealing \"Armand\'s\" (Pierre) sunglasses. Fabulous food, fantastic company and fun, fun, fun. What a great week! We felt truly spoiled. Will remember this trip always. Patty, Doug, Vicky and Wylie.

Our first cruise, and you really showed us how to relax with two kids. We celebrated our 15th anniersary in style because of you. It was a joy and pleasure from the start. We really appreciated the sailing lessons and stories. The cooking was truly amazing. God bless! Rick and Stephanie, Trey and Madison.

What a wonderful and amazing week!o You taught us about sailing, showed us beautiful places and treated us to wonderful meals and amazing company. Thank you for your fantastic hospitality and friendship. We will come back. Steve and Christine.

\"Boundless skies stretch to contain the warmth of your boundless embrace - for adventure, for laughter, for the comraderie of life itself.\" As a team, you are superb companions, trusted teachers of eager explorers, and after six days, good friends. Always delicious and flavorful cuisine. We know we will always have a home to isit on the water. Fondly, Jeffrey and Jane.

Thank you so much for a wonderful vacation. You made our honeymoon awesome. The snorkelling was the best we\'ve seen. You are gratious hosts: great food, great drinks and even better conversation. Thanks for sharing your stories and experiences with us. All the best, Noelle and Mark.

Our vacation on Honiara has exceeded our expectations. The sailing was superb, every meal a culinary masterpiece, deserts to die for. Your enthousiasm for snorkelling led us from one underwater wonderland to another. We loved recounting the fish and the flora that we saw. The best part was the conversation and the comraderie. We felt like member of your family. We will tell stories of our adventures and when we need some cheering, we will think of you. Steve and Daphne, Jerry and Susan.

Our best trip yet! The snorkelling was fantastic! Adele\'s brownies made Greg\'s trip. Kevin really appreciated the time Pierre took to teach him some sailing and loed the opportunity to take the helm and give orders to the rest of the crew. Thanks for a memorable trip! Greg and Christine, Kevin and Marie.

The entire trip exceeded our expectations. What wonderful memories we created and look forward to reliving each year when we celebrate our wedding anniversary. The most fun memory will be how Adele took charge and made sure I got married in my wedding dress with dry hair and make-up on. Bottom line, thank you both so much for making our wedding day so very special. The food, cocktails, wine, snorkeling, sailing instructions are all so appreciated. You are both special people and we are so pleased to call you our friends. Jen and Brian.

Gorgeous scenery, a bit of adventure, excellent food and charming company...now this is what I call a vacation! We thoroughly enjoyed learning the finer points of sailing the islands. Canèt imagine seeing the USVIéBVI any other way. Cheers, Susan and Craig.

We are so glad to have had the opportunity to meet both of you. You made the trip more special than we could have ever expected. The food was amazing. We enjoyed the sailing and snorkeling, but most of all we enjoyed relaxing with good friends in such beatiful surrondings. Carol and Forrest.

There was a pair from Charlotte,
An active duo ----,
They dined well and swam,
What fun, though they never ran,
And loaded up on Adeleès brownies.
Delightfuly what a trip,
They ate till their clothes did rip,
Restfuly for sure, but here is the thinghy,
They labored getting in the dinghy,
Amazingly they did not slip. What a trip, thanks, Judy and Jeff.

I can tell by the notes in this book that everyone who has visited the VI on Honiara has had an incredible experience of the islands and the couple. You guys are great and very special. Thank you for a wonderful first experience of sailing. You guys are very good at sailing, cooking, conversing and having fun at Foxy\'s. Thank you for showing us around as you patiently waited for our desire to shop, sleep late, and to enjoy many \"painkillers\". We look forward to coming back to enjoy it all again with you guys. Thanks again for a wonderful time.

Dear Adele & Pierre:

The B-AAARRR!-Ber crew form Vancouv-AAARRR! had a M-AAARRR!-velous time! (Note: This is after the Happy AAARR! with Michel Bean at Marina Cay. PB). Pie-AAARRR! kept sails trimmed and the meals were Adele-licious. Though mixed weather to spectacular clear skies Maddy, Samantha, Andee and I relished each moment. The day at Great H-AAARRRR!bour was memorable for sure(!) ending with a sumptuous feast at Foxy`s including a mysterious feather and a birthday gala! Thak you so much for catering to Maddy`s b-AAARRR!-thday including the chocolate cake and Samanta`s Buddhist/Veggie cuisine requests! We all fell very saafe, and appreciated the minor sailplan adjustments enroute to make each day great! We wish you smooth seas and winds at your back!

We`re so glad we got the sea turtle, large grouper, naked man on a boat, rainbow and best weather ever sail! We loved the Sand Box and partying with Tony at Michael Beans Happy AAAARRR. AARRGH! And how about that dinghy eh? \'Oh, where did that come from?\' famous words from Pierre. For future guests, make sure make sure Adele is in the dinghy if you want a dry trip. We can`t thank you enough for your lovely hospitality and great knowledge! Hopefully we will see you again! Love, Kay, Ruus, Julie and Ryan, Apalachicola, FL, Jan 29, 2009.

Just in case you want to know:
1. I appreciate your effort on the fishing,
2. The food was outstanding,
3. The anchorages were most special - goats, roosters and hens, red hinds, sand bar sharks ( on a fly fishing rod!), grunts, squirrel fish, and numerous broken lines from barracuda.
Thanks for enduring our special requests with such gratiousness. We had a great time! Jimmy and Windy, Alabama and Georgia, Feb 10, 2009.

Come as guests, leave as friends\"!

Thank you for sharing a trip of a life time with us. Our Honeymoon! Thanks for looking after us, taking us to some exciting places that we would have never known about. We saw all the marine life we had hoped to, with one exception. No dolphin! (: Thank you for feeding us, the food was great. We could not have asked for better. Thanks again, Keann & Phill, Calgary, Canada, 6 March 2009.

Adele & Pierre: Thanks for a great week. Life is about memories and experiences, and you have given us memories for a life time. My son and I will always remember exploring Salt Island, The Baths, Michael Beans, sailing, sunning and the great food! We made the right choice for Kyle\'s senior trip: a Virgin Island charter, Honiara, and you guys! The activities were excellent and there was plenty of time for R&R also. We had a great time talking on the the evenings and getting to know you both. We would both like to take another trip. Hopefully we\'ll see you soon. John and Kyle, Missouri, March 20, 2009.

Dear Pierre & Adele, If our marriage is anything similar to the trip we have had on the Honiara, we are in for a lifetime of: 1. Good weather; 2. Great food; 3. Wonderful conversation; 4. New adventures, and; 5. New frienships. What a great way to spend our honeymoon - new places, great pictures and wonderful memories. We appreciate the hard work and thought that has gone into our weeks, we have memories full of great little spots, snorkeling, interesting dishes and lazy days on board. While my sunburn may have stopped us from fully exploring the islands, it has allowed us to explore the boat and you as hosts. The meals have exposed us to new things, we go back to mainland ready to expand our cooking skills! Contact us if you ever are in Baltimore or want a tour of Maryland.May you always have a good point of sail, a fish nibbling at your line and a calm port without a bareboater chopping your lines!! Your friends Mike and Melissa, Baltimore, MD, April 16, 2009.

A week is nowhere lond enough to see these beautiful islands. Thank you for a great week. The history and stories were very interesting. We learned so much about the islands and sailing. Adele, I still think you should write a sailing cookbook. The food was wonderful, and you creatively met all of our dietary quirks. Thanks again! Have a great 2010 season and remember you have an open invitation to stay with us in Tampa. Best wishes, Bill and Denita, Tampa, FL, Dec. 5, 2010.

We appreciate how much time and effort you put into your meals. We hope to do this again one day ... maybe in the BVI! Audrey and Rich, Lake in the Hills, IL, 19 June 2010.

Thank you so very much for a fantastic vacation in the Lewards! You were excellent hosts with a wealth of knowledge to share and many great stories to tell. You made us feel at home on Honiara.I will definitively try some of your recipes at home - you may have turned me into a cook, Adele! LOL. It is obvious you love what you do, and that is what made our time with you spectacular. We would like to do this again, so perhaps we will see you in the Virgin Islands! :). Nicole and Rob, Sycamore, IL, 19 June 2010.

When we started planning our vacation in the VI, we thought that 10 days would be just about right. Now that we are ready to leave, I wish we had scheduled twice as long (or longer). Both of you were unfailingly gracious in sharing your lovely home on the water with us. It felt more like visiting close friends in a lovely tropical setting. The food was wonderful as was the conversation, and we appreciated the sailing knowledge that you shared as well as the hands-on experience. We will think of you both often, especially as we sail on \"Second Wind\" (our boat) or cook clam linguine. Please stay in touch, and enjoy your wonderful family in Ottawa. Merry Christmas and Best Wishes for a Joyous and Prosperous New Year! Lynne and Ted, Maryland, 17 Dec. 2010

We really did\'nt want to leave. The islands are beautiful by boat, would\'nt do it any other way. Pierre and Adele were wonderful hosts and keep their boat home immaculate. The food was outstanding - we tried to get Adele to let us help her publish a cookbook. Very best wishes. Vaughn and Peggy, Birmingham, AL, 19 Jan 2011.

It was a wonderful adventure through St. Martin and the Leeward Islands. Nice sailing, great evenings under the stars with plenty of food for your body and your mind, all thanks to Pierre and Adele. They are happy people and make other people feel happy too. Stanislav, Moscow, Russia. 12 Feb 2011.

We leave our lovely floating home away from home with wonderful memories - lots of laughter, goosd conversations, many good sails, snorkeling, good food. What more could one ask for? We\'ve made two good friends and are full of memories for the rest of our lives. Love to you both, Claire and Rick, Georgetown, ME. 31 March 2011.

Thank you, Adele and Pierre, for showing us a good time in the BVI. You spoiled us and we loved it. One more thing off our \"Bucket List\". Our many \"toasts\" were fun - the best one, of course, was for the successful bid by our business D.F. Tomasini. Thank you for all the memories. Many thanks, Larry and Diana, Wisconsin, 29 April 2011.

Wow what a fantastic time! This has been a dream of mine for a long time and you made my dream come true. You were wonderful hosts and the dinners were delicious. Thank you again Pierre and Adele for a wonderful boating experience and spoiling us. We are wishing you the very best. Thanks again, Bill and Linda, Wisconsin, 29 April 2011.

Thank you Adele & Pierre for being such incredible hosts! The amount of things we were able to do in a shorter trip (4 days) was way above our expectations. Fishing, sailing, climbing, hiking, snorkeling... and still enough time to enjoy the spectacular cuisine! We loved every second! We can\'t wait to share the memories with our families and friends and hopefully make it back sometime soon! Hard to describe the excitement we felt going over hundreds of pelicans, seeing the sharks feeding and followed by dolphins shortly after...will make our best effort over a few Don-Q\'s :)! Thank you sooooo much, Antonio & Sara 12/10/11
