| Thanks Captain Ed! |
What an adventure we had on Safari! This was my first charter experience and 1st passport stamp ever! I learned how to be a SAILOR… from the rum, treasure hunting in the caves, to trimming the Jib / Head Sail / Genoa. The kayaks were a blast too. Turns out 3 drunk adults can fit on the “2 person” kayak when trying to come back from the Willie T’s. One thing I know for sure… there is nothing better than sailing into the sunset on Safari in the Caribbean. I can’t wait to come back and re-live this adventure. What an amazing boat she is!

| | Thank you for a wonderful trip! | Thank you for a wonderful trip. We were off to a shaky start with the high winds (for a family of landlubbers!) The good news was that we knew we were in very capable and experienced hands. The itinerary you planned for us was perfect, and the one modification we made (staying 2 days in Marina Cay) worked out so well. Thank you for your investment of time making sure our vacation was the best it could be. We were always one step ahead of those bare boaters in getting the best moorings! Gotta love that during the busiest week of the year! We had a great, relaxing time – kids and parents Happy New Year. Love,
Ian – Thank you for taking care of us so well this week! I am very impressed that you could consistently please everyone (age 6-44+) with your delicious meals. We will be talking about them for a long time.

| | Thanks for a truly memorable vacation! |
We like the Boat! We like the Captain! We like the food! This was our first charter experience, and it was really wonderful. The boat is very nicely appointed and was very comfortable, but the attention to our comfort really made the difference. The itinerary was just perfect, and gave us a great taste of the Virgin Islands.
Ian - The food was a nice surprise. You really exceeded our expectations, and I’ll be trying to replicate some of your sauces. Amazing that you could pull it off in that tiny galley.
Ed – What a great experience getting to sail the boat, and take the helm! You picked just the right spots – Cane Garden Bay and snorkeling Monkey Point, diving the Rhone – It was all great! Thanks for a truly memorable vacation.

| | We’ll be back! |
Captain Ed and Chef Ian,
A great week and fabulous vacation doesn’t capture this experience. Thank you both for your careful attentiveness and superb way of pampering us and giving us a wonderful trip of a lifetime in gorgeous Tortola!! Since we can’t take you with us, we’ll be back. Warmly,
Randy and Mary S. – Chicago

This week… A long - awaited sailing adventure, in our favorite place, the Caribbean, with a crew worth its weight in pirate booty!
Cap’n Ed made the trip seem effortless, all the while gauging the weather, the mooring balls, and the whims of his guests. Ed is clearly in his element though, when sharing the history of his beloved islands with those wise enough to listen.
And then there is Ian Thomas Finn, talented chef, patient listener, and steady… a critical quality when you’re working in a small galley, with 3 admirers under the age of 13 doing their absolute best to distract and get underfoot. The food was fabulous – diverse, well seasoned, and nicely presented – only to be rapidly consumed!
Thank you for all you did and arranged to make our vacation, well, a vacation! Best to both of you, fondly,
Gail L.
P.S. I would be remiss if I didn’t compliment the great boat and fish light.
| | Your knowledge and competency kept us all feeling safe | ates,
As I have learned this week of the thirst for treasure over the centuries in these islands, I have reflected on the notion that the best treasure is what you take with you everywhere – the love of your family, your faith in what you believe in, and the memories and experience gathered over your life. I can tell you that I have added substantial booty to my chest this week.
Ed, the care and warmth you have invested in our journey has been as welcome as the first happy hour libation, or Ian’s appetizers that satisfy and offer promise for the delectable meal that ensues. Your knowledge and competency kept us all feeling safe, and ready for whatever unfolded. Your guided tours and tales of the islands enriched our immersion into this unique part of the world. I felt how sincerely you wanted us to have a great week, and you delivered. Thanks Cap’n.
Ian, the fruits of your skilled labor will stay with me longer than I care to contemplate. Your ability to keep our ravenous kids fed and entertained was remarkable. You are a rock star to them and a friend to us. Thanks for the memorable and healthy meals and good cheer. Best of luck with the boat! With gratitude to our fine crew,
John L.
P.S. What a fine boat! Perfect for our family –
| | We found it all here! |
Blue Water, Blue Sky, Brown Booze. We found it all here. Skipping island to island, we didn’t land too many fish, but many a memory from wind surfing to “catch phrase”. From scuba diving to fine dining, From Willy T’s family album to some wacky Rasta’s at Foxy’s, we did it all. It nearly brought a tear to daddy’s eye when he was reunited with his old hat at Foxy’s. I took my first scuba trip 50 feet below the waves, and entered a world I had never imagined was available. Jenn, MC, and Mom all baked in the sun and read something near 20 books. Jumping off the bow of the boat brought great laughs and splendid pictures. Though we didn’t find any pirates booty, we had an exceptionally awesome time, and I can’t wait until we come back. The food by chef Ian was superb, and the captaining by White Bearded Ed was great. Teri provided a wonderful smile, and great help w/Ed and the windsurf board. One Love, Brudda

| | There is so much to say! | The Safari! There is so much to say! The boat was fantastic with all the amenities. Food was gourmet, prepared by Captain / Chef Ed. Our sail was certainly a safari on the sea, stopping at key points, and snorkeling to experience the beauty of the sea. Every minute brought memories to savor for a lifetime. The scenery sells itself, only to be topped by the gathering of new friends, and family. Thank You Teri for sharing the beautiful Safari, Ed & Toni for including us, Patrick & Ariel for sharing your fine wines. Long sail the Safari!

| | This was our Honeymoon… |
This was our honeymoon, and it was definitely special. We had planned this trip for awhile and it definitely met all our expectations. We came with no plans, just to relax, and we were definitely in good hands. The snorkeling was great, and we even got to see a shark! Thankfully we were on the boat :-) We accomplished our task of relaxing. Also, the food was amazing. Thanks for everything.

| | Every day was an adventure | Awesome Week!!! Started out with a detour to St Croix due to bad weather, however Captain Ed and Teri were waiting for us with smiles. Ian had a wonderful breakfast waiting when we arrived. Every day was an adventure. The boys loved Pirates Bite. The younger boys played on the iceberg, and the older boys went with Ian to Willy T’s. We had a turn at the Captains wheel, snorkeled at the caves, dove Angelfish Reef. The highlights were our hike to the Bubbly Pool, and our last day of sailing (8-10’ swells). An amazing adventure thanks to Captain Ed and crew.
Thanks for the great trip! Sailing was really fun. Thanks for the stories Captain Ed. Thanks for the sailing tips Teri. Thanks for the amazing food and great cooking tips Ian.
