| GUESTS COMMENTS | | Trish Baily made our trip. | “Your passion and professionalism is obvious”.
| | | | | A trip of a lifetime | "My wife Jan and I chartered the Serendipity for our 25th wedding anniversary as a present to ourselves in Spring 2004. Captain only for a week. We did most of the cooking, although Trish did bake bread (it was very good) and prepared a couple of the meals for us as a treat. We ate out two or three times at restaurants that Trish recommended and had a wonderful time. You can't go wrong with Trish. She is a wonderful combination of experienced sailor, naturalist, raconteur and tour guide. She didn't intrude, yet she was there when we needed her. We always felt like we had our space but she was always there to answer questions (something I found especially great since I had a lot of questions about the marine life, about which she is an expert). She listened readily to our ideas and inclinations of what we might like to do so that we felt that it was our trip.
She really loves sailing and especially the marine life and environment. When Jan and I were snorkeling, she would almost always be in the water herself, checking things out. If she found something special she'd make sure we saw it too.
I had a little prior sailing experience and Jan had no sailing experience. But being the crew was great fun and not at all beyond either of us. At the end of it Jan was ready to do it again. Something I was very happy about since I've always hoped that sailing would play a part in our future adventures together.
Trish was very professional but not the least bit stuffy. We had many good laughs. When we ended the trip, both Jan and I felt that we'd made a life long friend.

Our holiday experience with Trish, as our skipper, was exceptional. We too hired the boat on a "skipper only" basis, which suited our pocket and, since cooking is my hobby, it also gave us an additional interest on the trip. Trish helped in the kitchen, where she made us bread and helped in meal preparation, just as one of the family.
Our typical day started at 8 with a snorkel around a close by reef, returning for breakfast and a discussion about the days activities. We would then sail (under canvas) to another island or reef where we would snorkel or dive to observe the fish and coral in that area. Each reef was different and all were interesting. Trish is an ecologist and an expert in the multitude of corals and the species of fish that swim in them.
Sometimes we came ashore and walked to beauty spots or areas of ornithological interest.
The weather, too, had some bearing on our activities. When we were there, it was just at the end of the rainy season and so we probably had more rain and wind than would be expected in March. I think we were blessed with some ideal sailing weather, sailing along at 10 knots one occasion; Quite exhilarating ! (Had we opted to motor to our destinations I am sure Trish would have accommodated us).
We found the whole experience relaxing and most enjoyable, we would repeat the holiday again and again and have no hesitation in recommending the boat and the skipper to you.”

| | | | | “This is just to thank you very much for giving us such a wonderful time. We cannot think of anything that could have been improved upon; weather, sea state, snorkeling, food, Serendipity and everything else were all great and, in particular, you were great too!”
| | | | | “Just a very big thank you for a marvelous week which we all so enjoyed. Your friendliness, competence and local knowledge made our holiday a great success.”
| | | | | “Serendipity is beautifully equipped for chartering, and the galley was awesome - we were continually amazed at the inventory of spices, oils, vinegars, etc that you had. We had no schedule, and managed to stick to it pretty well - just like most people I suspect”.

“ I just want to say thanks for all the radical snorkeling you took me on. There is so much to thank you for but this is supposed to be short!! This sums it up – ‘ Thanks for everything’. 12 years.
“Thank you for providing me the opportunity to participate in Radical snorkeling and for setting up my pain-free SCUBA lessons as well as showing us the bubbly wobbly pools and the sailing lessons” 15 years
