Captain Martin Thomas started work in 1993 in St Lucia for a Sportsfishing company with two motor yachts and then moved in 1999 with the same company to work in Grenada. In 2000 Captain Martin helped with the final rigging of a new 50' sailing yacht in Martinique eventually taking her to St Lucia to do day and term charters on the sailing yacht which he did until the boat was sold and shipped abroad to Europe. Capt. Martin also did some occasional work on a 120' barge used for pile driving, as well as several deliveries along the Caribbean islands and Venezuelan coast. Since 2000 he has been working with local day charter companies until joining Whatever in 2010.
Chef/Mate/Stewardess Joanne has many years experience in the charter yacht industry having worked in the Caribbean on motor and sailing yachts, as well as on Clasship 1 a Turkish Gulet in the BVI's. Joanne is also a Dive Master. Joanne's interests include fine wines and dining, and she keeps fit with Salsa dancing. |
