Captain, Adam Hart
Nationality - English
Having grown up around the water on Sail Yachts, yachting was a natural transition for Adam. Having joined the industry at the age of 18 he quickly gained his Yacht tickets up to Master 3000gt on Yachts based between the Mediterranean and Caribbean where he has extensive cruising knowledge. Adam has worked on and run both Private and Charter vessels, for a wide range of different clients and strives to provide the best service. He is keen to now cruise extensively all over the world.
In his spare time Adam enjoys all water sports from windsurfing to wakeboarding, fishing and diving. He is a keen rugby player and also has a passion for winter sports being trained to ski instructor level.
Captain, Peter Rowsell
Nationality - English
Peter grew up on the Isle of Wight where sailing dominates a lot of peoples calendars, this meant that watersports was something he grew up with. Being a sailing instructor at a young age and working in a boat yard every holiday as a teenager set him in good stead for his career ahead. Peter completed a Bachelor of Science in Rural Land Surveying at an Agricultural university, before he embarked on his career at sea.
Peters previous boats have seen him go around the world, from the Arctic Circle, the Pacific, Atlantic and Indian Ocean as well as the Mediterranean Sea. In his time off he likes to travel extensively, normally this involves the sea, be it a diving and fishing holiday, to exploring uncharted rivers in Central America in small yachts or racing across the Atlantic on two separate occasions in high performance offshore racing sail yachts.
The yachts Peter has previously worked on have given him a range and wealth of knowledge from very high profile, formal yachts to exploratory yachts that love to use their array of toys in far-flung destinations. He is dedicated to delivering the exact experience any guest may wish for whilst onboard.
Chief Officer, Joshua Scott
Nationality South Africa
Joshua was born and raised on a farm in South Africa. He attended Stellenbosch University where he completed a Degree in Sport Science. During his time at Stellenbosch he played 1st team rugby. He is also a qualified personal trainer and sports massage therapist. Certified coach for rugby, cricket, hockey, tennis, swimming and athletics. He is very passionate about the wildlife, fishing and the outdoors, and this is where he feels most comfortable. So for Joshua yachting incorporates these activities making him perfect for a life on the ocean.
Joshua has been yachting for 11 years now, and he has recently gained his Master 3000 ton Captain license. Before joining M.Y Ad Vantage he has crewed on some much larger yachts during his career such as M.Y Seven Seas and M.Y Pacific. He is looking forward to cruising some out of the way places with you, and making sure your safety is paramount.
Chief Engineer, Marvin Gledhill
Nationality - French
Marvin has been sailing our seas since the tender age of 14. Starting out racing lasers in competitions all over Europe, he also became a competitive windsurfer.
Marvins career in engineering began at the Marseille Maritime Academy. Marvin has a varied experience having worked on sailing yachts, cruise ships and tankers.
Born and bred in France, the super yacht hub of Antibes is his hometown, so it seemed only natural that Marvin should transition to Super yachts in his early 20s. Now, Marvin has gained an extensive knowledge in super yacht refit projects and rebuilding engine rooms to match up to his high standards.
Marvins hobbies include photography, music and he has recently picked up surfing. Among Marvins many talents, he speaks three languages fluently, and plays the piano and guitar.
2nd Engineer, Edward Wakeman
Born and raised in the small yachting community of Lymington, located on the south coast of England, Edward has always been in and around the world of yachting.
After leaving school he began work in yacht construction and from there he decided to delve deeper into the maritime industry by studying at Warsash Maritime Academy for 3 years where he became a qualified engineering officer, sailing around the world on a range of ships, from container vessels to offshore installation vessels constantly building on his knowledge, skills and experience.
In his free time Edward likes to spend his time out on the Solent fishing, and has recently taken up diving, completing his PADI open water certification. He is also a keen swimmer and Sunday league football player
Chief Stewardess/ Cook, Lucy Wallis
Nationality - English
Born and raised on the small coastal resort of Hayling Island in the south of England, Lucy has grown up surrounded by water. As a competitive swimmer in her teens, and an ongoing open water diving enthusiast, Lucy is at her happiest in or under the water!
After studying Media at university Lucy decided to try her hand at yachting. Now, 6 years on, she is an experienced chief stewardess and has cruised the Mediterranean extensively. Lucy has good knowledge of wine and gourmet food and thrives on hosting her guests, on board and at home alike. In her spare time Lucy likes to keep fit and learn new skills. She is a self-taught cook with a passion for experimenting with new recipes and techniques.
Stewardess/Deckhand, Alice Bushelle
Nationality - Australian
Alice grew up in Byron Bay, Australia, growing up so close to the ocean and lush surroundings sparked a great love of the outdoors! Diving, swimming, paddle boarding, hiking, horse riding.
Traveling has also been top of the list so working on yachts made a lot of sense and she has loved every minute.
Bosun, Andrew Deacon
Nationality South African
Andrew was born and raised in Cape Town, South Africa, where he adopted a great passion for the outdoors and a love for the ocean. After finishing his degree in International Marketing Management, Andrew set off overseas. In 2009 he worked on a ski resort in Aspen, Colorado after which he headed straight to the Mediterranean where he began his yachting career. Andrew has been in the industry for almost 6 years and is enjoying himself thoroughly; his passion for the ocean and water sports makes this a great career path for him. Andrew holds his Master of Yachts (200t) limited Captains License and has cruised the Atlantic, Mediterranean, Caribbean and Baltic seas. He enjoys Surfing, fishing, snowboarding, hiking, scuba diving.
Deckhand, Robin Edge

Robin is our experienced instructor of Kite boarding, Surfing and Paddle boarding onboard. Robin grew up in Cape Town, where he never lived more than a few minutes from the Ocean. He loves anything water based, he caught his first wave when he was 7 years old has been surfing ever since.
In 2012 Robin decided to see what the Yachting industry had to offer, it has not disappointed him. Traveling the world and doing what he loves he looks forward to welcoming you onboard and helping to make your stay as enjoyable as possible.
Nationality - English
Born and bred in the coastal town of Bournemouth, Johnny was always going to pursue his love for the water. At the ripe age of 18 he traveled to Australia to work and study diving, eventually to become a qualified PADI Instructor, teaching in Sydney. It was here Johnny also discovered his love for traveling and backpacking, later on exploring North, Central and South America finding a world of culture, beautiful landscapes, experiences and refining his Spanish.
In 2014 Johnny found a new and exciting opportunity in the form of yachting where he secured his first job on a 39m motor yacht. Since then he has worked on yachts in the Mediterranean, Caribbean and Central American coast. Now on-board Ad-vantage Johnny hopes to pursue his career and skills even further. In his free time, Johnny loves to stay active in the form of any exercise, from hiking and archery to meditation and bush craft.
