Ross is no stranger to yachting, with over 24 years’ experience in the industry. With a keen passion for the outdoors and sailing there is no wonder Ross made this his career. He’s has always enjoyed racing and been competing in various regattas in the Mediterranean, Caribbean and the Sydney Hobart Race.
Adding to the practical knowledge he has gained sailing tens of thousands of sea miles - including 17 transatlantic crossings, Ross holds a Master 3000ton MCA Certificate of Competence.
With his wealth of experience, Ross will ensure your stay onboard Alexa is both luxurious and memorable.
Ross is married and lives in Mallorca with his wife and two children. He enjoys living an active lifestyle and has an interest in skiing, squash, tennis, and rugby.

Originally from Australia, Joanna has resided in Europe for quite some time where she has filled many temporary and seasonal chef positions on both charter and private yachts, sail and motor. During this time Joanna has cruised the Western Mediterranean experiencing flavours and local produce, incorporating them into her repertoire enforcing her passion for her style of cooking that she refers to as “fresh”. Adding to her yachting experience Joanna has spent 4 summer seasons on a privately- owned
estate in Mallorca, whose owners have an award-winning tapas bar in London. Joanna is ambitious and enthusiastic and in parallel with her vocation onboard, she continues to train asa life coach and therapist. Previous yachts: M/Y Atlantic Goose (40m) M/Y Gerosa (34m)

STEWARDESS: Phoebe Barnet - Australian

A quick thinker and enthusiastic are a couple of the words Phoebe uses to describe herself. Joining Alexa of London, for her second season in the yachting industry and ready to take on any challenge that comes her way. Growing up in Australia and training as a registered nurse, she changed direction in 2017 when she travelled to Italy to work as an au pair. Phoebe soon acquired a taste for adventure and turned to yachting where she soon found herself onboard M/Y Heavenly Daze as 2nd Stewardess for a busy season. In her spare time, Phoebe loves spending time at the beach but has a passion for food and cooking.

CHIEF ENGINEER: Andy Feeney - British
Languages: English, Spanish
After graduating with an honours degree in Mathematics in 2004, followed by working as a business insurance underwriter for 2 years, Andy decided to make a move to Palma to learn how to teach English as a foreign language.
Working and living in Barcelona for a year he returned to Palma and started his yachting career on the iconic sailing yacht “CREOLE” and has never looked back. With plenty of sailing and racing experience all over the Mediterranean and Caribbean he brings a wealth of knowledge to Alexa. In 2011 Andy decided to pursue engineering and is currently working towards his Y4.
Andy lives in Mallorca with his girlfriend and new born baby boy, Aaron.

DECKHAND: Tim Dawson - Australian
Languages: English
Tim has just completed his first season in yachting on Alexa. From an early age Tim has spent time on the water, sailing, racing and surfing. He has completed the Sydney- Hobart race and won Division 2 on IRC. Earlier this year Tim made the decision to leave Sydney and travel overseas to pursue a career in yachting. Tim loves all water sports and music.
Fun Fact: Tim has been appearing on various TV-Shows/Movies and if you look carefully you can spot him on Home and Away, From Sydney with Love, Puberty Blues and The Great Gatsby.
