Today, he vaunts over 27 years of experience on board sailing and motor yachts, both private and commercial.
Stefano has cruised all the Mediterranean, the North Sea, Atlantic Sea and the Caribbean and in a certain sense he owes his cosmopolitan mind to the long time spent travelling around the world. Captain Remotti is an efficient, extremely cautious seaman who does not spare any effort in pursuing the excellence in his personal work and in the activity of his Team.
Ruggero Rebutti, 27 years old, Italian

Ruggero comes from a family of seamen by generations: embracing the world of the sea was almost written in his destiny!! He approached to the industry of navigation at the early age of 14, when during the free period from school, operated as mooring man in his native Genoa. After having graduated with a bachelor's degree at the Nautical School and achieved his diploma at the Merchant Naval Academy, Ruggero started his career of seaman as Officer Cadet aboard a passengers ship. The, he reached quickly the position of 2nd Deck Officer and got the license to drive vessels over than 3000 gross tonnage. Smiling and positive by nature, Ruggero is at his first season aboard Axantha II.
Jean-Pierre Yta, 58 years old, French

Jean-Pierre started his career with the French National Navy where he has remained for 21 years. He then began working on commercial yachts. In 2004, Jean-Pierre joined MY Axantha (38m), the previous yacht of the current owner of Axantha II. Afterwards, he was honoured to participate actively to the building of Axantha II, that’s why she has really no secret for him! Jean-Pierre takes pride in keeping a pristine engine room and the yacht in general, running in safe working order at all times.
Arnaud Theurillat, 41 years old, French/Australian

After having completed his 3-year apprenticeship in a Michelin-starred restaurant in Colmar (France), in his early 20s Arnaud left the native country to travel & work around the world. After having gained a position as commis Chef in a castle in Ireland, Arnaud joined the staff of a renowned cruise shipping company in Bahamas, then, he moved to Indonesia and New Zealand, where he lived for a few months. In 2004, Arnaud reached the South-West of Australia and fallen immediately in love with the country, he decided to settle there for a long period of his life. Originally sponsored as trained French Chef, Arnaud operated as Head and Pastry Chef for high turnover restaurants; aside the main duties of menu planning (often on daily basis), provisioning and organisation of large functions, he was also on charge to train the staff. In 2010 Arnaud has moved back to the Mediterranean and joined the mega yachts Industry (ranging by the 40 and 90 metres). Very skilled in Mediterranean cuisines, especially French and Italian, Arnaud comes with a large knowledge in pastry, fresh homemade bread and Asian food. A passionate wine connoisseur, he will be happy to suggest you the best food and wine pairings if you wish!!
