Antonis Kamakaris
Position: Captain
Nationality: Greek

Captain Antonis has 25 years of maritime experience, five of which in the super yachts sector. After graduation from the Maritime Academy, Captain Antonis commenced his service at sea from container vessels, cargo ships, as well as passenger ferries. He began his new luxury maritime career path as a Captain onboard 70m private M/Y SUERTE where he got promoted by the owner, so he continued as her Captain until May 2022. In June 2022 he signed his first major contract with el M/Y Pandion, which has been completed successful. With his excellent training and multiple certificates like Master Class A and Diploma Master Unlimited, he was leading a training of Staff Captains. He has remarkable logistic and managing skills, also due to his fishing and water sports interests he is willing to engage in onboard activities that create memorable experiences for the guests.

Nikos Chronis
Position: Chief engineer
Nationality: Greek

Chief Engineer Nikos, married and a father of one, a dedicated person and hard-working. Has acquired all diplomas and certificates needed in his line of work, such as his A’ Mechanic diploma, Security and Firefighting, Survival, First Aid as well as Ship security officer, tanker and speed boat license. He has worked on board various motor yachts, some of which are m/y June Luck, and m/y Illusion XI”. Also on board tankers for Nereus Shipping and Superfast Ferries. In his free time he likes underwater diving.


Ilias Barekas
Position: Chef
Nationality: Greek

Hlias is an executive chef with much talent and culinary knowledge. With over 13 years of experience, he has managed to be very skillful and creative, he loves his line of work. Has attained all necessary certificates, “HACCP”, “E.F.E.T.”, “Seamans Book”, “STCW”, ‘Crowd and Crisis Management”. Has worked at “Princess of Kos” as well as for a group of holels again in Kos Island. At “Fereniki Resort and SPA” he was responsible for organizing wedding menus, for the main restaurant and the beach restaurant, and along with the F & B manager organized the central supplies and food cost. Carried on working at “Luis Cruises”, M/Y Carissima, M/Y Freedom, M/V Minerva, M/Y Starllnk. As a private chef he also worked on board SS Delphine. In general his responsibilities are many and they include the overall daily operation of the kitchen, producing menues, new dishes, catering for special events, anticipate and balance food/labour costs and many more. He is an expert in cooking tasteful Greek dishes, as well as Italian, French, Indian, Asian, Kosha, American, Mediterranean, Sea food, but can also arrange and cook Kids Menus, personal Menu Planning, Raw dieting and Vegan. He has a very calm personality and is eager to please with a can-do attitude. Has an outstanding work ethic.


Stratos Egglezos
Position: Chief Steward
Nationality: Greek

Since 1985 Stratos has been an active member in hospitality services, initially onboard Cruise Ships and then furthered his services to the yachting industry in 2000. He joined MABROUK in 2008, and has been onboard ever since, due to his utmost professionalism, experience, hospitality and topnotch services, always offering his best to everyone onboard. Stratos is also a trained seafarer and holds Life Saving & Firefighting Certificates. In his free time he enjoys basketball, gym and reading. He is 48 years old and married with two children.

Julia Mavraki
Position: 2nd Stewardess
Nationality: Greek

Raised in Piraeus, Julia has a Merchant Navy background. She graduated from the Merchant Marine Academy in 2020 after completing all of her training o board passenger vessels. She is a lovely girl with a very positive and friendly attitude and extremely eager to learn and develop within the industry. In her free time she enjoys traveling and exploring new places. Julia is 25 years old.

Panagiotis Bitivinos
Position: Bosun
Nationality: Greek

Panagiotis has a long experience at sea, for over 20 years, initially on cruise ships, and then shifted to the yachting industry in 2004. He joined MABROUK in 2014, proving to be an important addition to the team, since his enthusiasm for the sea and the water sports is a perfect combination to keep everyone active and busy. He holds various maritime certificates such as a Bosun Diploma, licensed lifeguard, licensed free diver, Ro/Ro & passenger Ship Certificate and Advanced Life Saving & Firefighting Certificate. On his free time Panagiotis enjoys fishing, hunting, diving and generally water sports. He is 49 years old and married with two children.

Dionisis Verikakis
Position: Deckhand
Nationality: Greek

Dionisis begun his yachting career as deckhand on 2011 and since then he has worked on a few yachts until settling on board MABROUK, were this is his fourth year with us. In the past he served as a Maritime Armed Guard in the Indian Ocean and the Red Sea and his skills as a security guard along with his love for the sea ensures that everyone onboard will feel safe and secure. He is excellent with water sports and has a very pleasant personality. His seamanship skills and discipline made him an important asset for MABROUK. Dionisis is 41 years old and has two children.

Maria Charitou
Position: Stewardess
Nationality: Greek

Maria’s studies were focused in the Tourism and hospitality field and her main goal is to offer high end services. She is hardworking, friendly and an organisational person, which really enjoys to socially involve with guests in order to create a pleasant time and entertain them onboard. She speaks fluent Russian and Greek, as well as English and is experienced in interacting with people from her previous jobs in the customer services and as a hostess in Manouka restaurant.
