Galapagos is a group of volcanic islands in the Eastern Pacific. The archipelago is a province of the Republic of Ecuador and due to their location the only way to reach the Islands is by air. The distance from Ecuador to Galapagos is approximately 1,000 km (600 miles).
Galapagos consists of 127 islands, islets, and rocks, a number that continuously evolves due to volcanic activity, which creates new lava fields, islets, and even expands existing islands. In this map of Ecuador and Galapagos islands you will be able to see the isolated location of the archipelago.
Unveil a group of remote volcanic islands in the Eastern Pacific, constantly reshaped by ongoing geological activity. A true laboratory of evolution, the Galapagos continues to fascinate scientists and travelers alike. Learn about its unique location, rich history, diverse wildlife, and seasonal climate patterns in this extraordinary paradise where nature thrives without limits.

Endangered sharks: Track a Shark, Protect a Species: with each cruise booking a shark is tracked for a full year, directly helping with this program’s research and conservation goals.
Plastic Plution: 8 Pounds Cleaner: Each guest helps remove 8 pounds of plastic waste from Galapagos beaches with this project's take on cleanup, education and global impact.
Saving giant tortpoises:Galapagos tortoises face ongoing threats which are direct consequences of human actions. To help preserve this emblematic archipelago giant, this project focuses on nest protection and specimens monitoring throughout their life. Another aspect is the local community collaboration in creating safe pathways and participating in environmental education campaigns.
Adopting Galapagos Animals: Our dedication to this project goes beyond mere involvement; we actively engage by turning our vessels into 'adoptive parents' for emblematic Galapagos species. Additionally, we grant adoption certificates and adorable stuffed animals to our guests and clients on special occasions. This initiative allows “adopters” to fund efforts while staying updated on conservation progress. To learn more about this program and to adopt your own Galapagos animal, |
